Can't login to Azure

I can login fine to my Microsoft account and have disabled 2FA, but I cannot login to Azure in any way as it keeps asking for a 2FA code. I tried installing Microsoft Authenticator but no notification is sent there. I really need to access my Azure account to turn off some billed services that I do not need.

In such scenarios, another Global Administrator can help to re-register MFA on a new mobile device. However, since you mentioned that you are the only Global Admin in the tenant, this qualifies as a tenant lockout scenario. To resolve this, we need to engage the Data Protection team via a support ticket to unblock your access.

The issue relates to a tenant lockout situation where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary admin rights to re-register MFA.
