I have been running HLK Testing on 22H2, 23H2 and 24H2. CHAOS test will pass on first two but on 24H2 it will crash the Devfund_CHAOS_WLK_Reliability.dll.

It return error code 0 on fuzz test but then fails the test and crashes the dll.

WDTF_TEST : RunFuzzAndIoTests pTestDevice->HasInterface FuzzTest failed for m_DisplayName=..

A crash with exception code 0xC0000005 occurred in module "Devfund_CHAOS_WLK_Reliability.dll" in process "te.processhost.exe" (pid:4256).

any help/clue/pointers/interest to ask further information is highly appreciated.

    Hi Himanshu Pareek,

    Thanks so much for bringing this up!

    If you're experiencing HLK or HCK test failures on Windows 11 24H2, one of the first things to check is whether both your HLK Controller and Client have been updated to the 24H2-compatible version. Running an older version is a common cause of issues like this.

    Microsoft recently released an updated HLK build to support 24H2 and Windows Server 2025. You can find all the details and the download link here: HLK Refresh Release for Windows 11 HLK 24H2 and Windows Server 2025

    Feel free to reach out if you need anything else—always happy to help!

    Beatrix.
