Lost access to Microsoft 365 Developer Program tenant due to MFA – need to unlink

Hi,

I joined the Microsoft 365 Developer Program and set up a sandbox tenant. However, I’ve lost access to the tenant because I no longer have my phone and can't complete MFA sign-in. I'm the only Global Admin, so there is no alternative method to regain access.

Now when I visit https://developer.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/profile, I no longer see a "Manage" or "Renew" option, and I’m unable to set up a new subscription.

Can someone from the Microsoft team please help me unlink the inaccessible tenant from my Developer Program account so I can create a new one? Or is it possible to reset my credentials with MFA?

I'm signed into this forum with the same Microsoft account used for the Developer Program. I’m happy to provide more details privately if needed.

Thanks in advance!

The solution that worked for me was to contact Microsoft 365 Data Protection support.

I requested a MFA reset for the GA/CA account on the Microsoft 365 online account.

Microsoft support contacted me at Friday and after some verification and validation steps they honored my request. The following Monday around 17:00 o'clock I was able to signing to the tenant with my GA and setup MFA again and had access the to the complete environment.
