I always get this error whenever my command prompt opens (Failed to load settings

Settings could not be loaded from file. Check for syntax errors, including trailing

commas.

  • Line 1, Column 1

Syntax error: value, object or array expected.

Temporarily using the Windows Terminal default settings.) wondering if anyone knows the fix or issue? Or if it’s even an issue at all I would greatly appreciate it.

After starting the terminal, try to press the Delete profile button in Command Prompt section of the Settings window:

Or check (and maybe remove) the settings.json file if it is corrupt (https://github.com/microsoft/terminal/wiki/Frequently-Asked-Questions-(FAQ)#where-can-i-find-the-settings-file).
