Can't access 4.1 models when I try to create a new agent

I can deploy a 4.1 model and it works in the Chat Playground, but when I try to use any 4.1 model with an agent, the UI doesn’t show that model as available. Do I need to change anything on my end?

It seems that the Azure AI Agent Service currently does not support the 4.1 models for agent creation, even though you can deploy them in the Chat Playground. The available models for agents may vary based on the specific configurations and regions. You might want to check if there are any restrictions

The GPT-4.1 models are already available for powering agents through the API as of April 14, 20252. These models bring significant improvements in instruction-following reliability and long-context comprehension, making them more effective for tasks like software engineering, extracting insights from large documents, and resolving customer requests2.

The GPT-4.1 models are available via the API but might not yet be fully integrated into all agent creation workflows. Some platforms, like Azure OpenAI Service, have rolled out GPT-4.1 for developers, but availability can vary depending on the specific tools or regions

I've been working on preparation for AI-102 during the past couple of weeks and worked through the exercises. In the Agent development part, everything worked fine until yesterday. I was able to deploy any models durint Agent creation. Since yesterday only seven Models show in the list and these can't be deployed, because it says "This model is not yet available for deployment". Has there anything changed on Microsoft side or is there any error with my Azure Tenant / subscription, which I have been using since more than 10 years now.
