Ok,

There is this nostalgic sound that is called a "Message Nudge"... Hmmm... I have been told that that sound plays when I get a message in the messaging app, but I don't think it plays in this scenario.

So when does the "Message Nudge" sound plays?

(The file for the sound is located in the (C:/Windows/media/Windows Message Nudge.wav) (As of Windows 10 1809))

Hi, I'm Henry! I will help you with this.

A third-party program may be interfering with other Windows applications, potentially causing unexpected Message Nudge sounds on your computer. To resolve this, try running your system in clean boot mode. This process helps identify and eliminate software conflicts that may arise when installing new programs, updates, or running applications in Windows 10. For detailed instructions, refer to this link.

Note: Please go through the section: How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting of the article to boot the computer in normal startup after fixing the issue.

If you need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to me.
