Hi,

I added a attribute to synch through Azure AD Connect, after that I had the message that the attribute is too long :

Unable to update this object in Azure Active Directory, because the attribute [extension_9c7dcbece744785e99832fc28c4e7224c_thumbnailPhoto], in the local Directory exceeds the maximum allowed length. If you want to update, reduce the length in the local directory services, and then try again.

I find another solution so I removed the attribute to synch in Azure AD Connect, I checked in connectors to be sure that the attribute is no more selected, but I still have an error in the connector logs : ExceededAllowedLength :

How is it possible to remove properly this attribute ?

Thank you for your help

    Hi Michev,

Thank you for your suggestion, I tried to refresh schema but the result remains the same.
I deteted users in Azure AD and Start-ADSyncSyncCycle and the error disappears.

Did you force a Schema refresh/full sync?
