Okey so simply said.

I bought a new (1Terabyte) hard drive which I connected really easily and all. There is a problem though, I chose GPT instead of MBR. How to I convert it to MBR?

    Hi @Wille Schneider ,

You can convert your disk from GPT to MBR with either Diskpart or via the Disk Management, you can follow along here:

Convert a GPT disk into an MBR disk

    Hi,
Firstly, if you are going to convert disk formats, please back up some important files on your disk. Because this will delete all partitions or volumes on the disk.
Then open an elevated command prompt by right-clicking Command Prompt and then choosing Run as Administrator.

Type diskpart. If the disk contains no partitions or volumes, skip to step 6.

At the DISKPART prompt, type list disk. Note the disk number that you want to delete.

At the DISKPART prompt, type select disk <disknumber>.

At the DISKPART prompt, type clean.

At the DISKPART prompt, type convert mbr.

Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.
    Best Regards,
    Carl
