Yes, I’ve been testing the Microsoft Speech Translation service over the past two days. Unfortunately, the performance has noticeably degraded. The translation is significantly less accurate than it used to be before the microphone issue. It now produces far more errors than in the past.
Additionally, the service is unstable — it frequently stops translating and switches to transcription mode instead. Even when it starts in translation mode, it doesn’t maintain it consistently and reverts to plain transcription after a short time.
At this point, the service is unreliable, and we are being charged for lower-quality output. While there were occasional errors before, the current level of inaccuracy is unacceptable.
