Getting an error while updating App registration manifest - Attributes not recognized

I have a tenant where I keep getting this notification when trying to change and save the manifest:

The editor below allows you to update this application by directly modifying its JSON representation. For more details, see: Understanding the Microsoft Entra ID application manifest.

In all other tenants that we manage we see that we are adjusting the Microsoft Graph App Manifest and not the Microsoft Entra ID application manifest..

Any idea how we can get this working with Microsoft Graph instead of Entra ID. We get errors that certain attributes are not recognized.

Some help would be very welcome.

Based on your query, here is my understanding: You would like to migrate from Entra ID graph Manifest to Microsoft graph manifest.

Here is the Microsoft document that helps you in migration process: Convert an app manifest in Azure AD Graph format to Microsoft Graph format.

Hi,thanks for your reply. I was not really looking into migrating. The tenant is 1 year old and new app registrations should be created in Microsoft Graph format.

I wanted to show you some screenshots so I connected again this morning. Imagine my surprise as I know see that our manifests are shown in Microsoft Graph Format instead of Entra ID format.

It looks that something has been changed in the backend by Microsoft, my homepage also has a total different look and feel.

Hi @Jeroen Luts,

I am glad your issue has been resolved. There might be a technical glitch which might be refreshed in your next login. As you well known that we are deprecating Entra ID graph manifest, and we are going to use only Microsoft graph manifest. In case if you do not see Microsoft graph manifest you need to perform migration with the documents I followed.
