So I am on my work computer trying to sign in to Microsoft in the settings with my work email and it tells me this below. I am still able to log into outlook and office 365 and everything else in it. Just can't login on the computer itself to switch it from my local account to Microsoft account.

Work/School accounts are different from Microsoft personal accounts at the identity system level.

Your work email (@proportionaltech.com) is an Entra ID

Windows, in this setting area, wants a personal Microsoft Account (like @outlook.com or, hotmail etc)

You can still sign into Outlook, Office 365, etc. — because those apps can authenticate work accounts separately.
