Attempting to setup a Trusted Signing certificate for my organizational account. I created the initial signing account and clicked Identity Verification. I receive this information and cannot continue:

At this time Trusted Signing is only available to organizations based in the USA and Canada that have a verifiable history of three years or more.

There are no identity validations available.

How do I show my verifiable history so I can continue this process?

    Hello Tangerine,

Based on your description, I understand that you are unable to submit a new organization validation request.

As of April 2, 2025, Microsoft has updated its Trusted Signing public preview program. The service is now limited to new customer subscriptions from organizations based in the United States and Canada with at least three years of verifiable history. Your organization must be legally based in the United States or Canada. If your company is registered elsewhere (e.g., Europe, Asia, etc.), Trusted Signing is not available to you at this time. Your organization must have a verifiable operating history of at least three years. This is typically verified through business registration data, tax records, DUNS number, or other third-party validation tools. As a result, organizations from other countries are currently unable to submit new validation requests for the remainder of the public preview phase, as individual developer onboarding has been paused.

At this time, there is no estimated timeline for when this feature will be available for other countries. I recommend keeping an eye on Microsoft communications for updates on the expansion of the Trusted Signing service to additional regions. You can also post a comment on this post for updates, and I will share any new information with you as soon as it becomes available.

For more details, please refer to the following document:

If you meet the requirements of 3 or more years and are based out of US or Canada, ensure you have the right role: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/trusted-signing/quickstart?tabs=registerrp-portal%2Caccount-portal%2Ccertificateprofile-portal%2Cdeleteresources-portal#create-an-identity-validation-request---organizationUser's image

    I hope this clarifies things.
