Using SendKeys which Letters can you not use when using Word 365? What are the default letters that use alt in Word 365?

In Microsoft Word 365, when using SendKeys (from VBScript, VBA, or automation tools), certain Alt key combinations are reserved for accessing the ribbon and shortcuts. Therefore, some keys may not work as expected when sent with SendKeys because they trigger built-in Word shortcuts instead of typing a character or executing a neutral command.

🔒 Letters You Cannot Reliably Use with SendKeys in Word 365 (due to Alt Shortcuts)

When the Alt key is held (or simulated via SendKeys "%<key>"), many single-letter keys are reserved to open ribbon tabs or execute commands. These include:

These keys cannot be used freely with Alt in SendKeys to send custom input because Word intercepts them.
