Hello,

I need some help to rectify the issue below. I received an email entitled:

“Action required: Make a purchase by June 4, 2025 to continue using your tenant” from microsoft-noreply@microsoft.com .

Required action: To continue using your tenant, make a purchase before June 4, 2025. If you don’t make a purchase before this date, your next purchase with Microsoft will require a new Microsoft Entra ID tenant to continue using Microsoft services.

I am a MS360 user and my subcription will auto renew itself in August annually. I do not understand what action is required. Would any MS staff be able to help me resolve this?

Thanks.

    Hello @JOYCE SIM ,

I Understand that the email you received from Microsoft regarding your Microsoft Entra ID tenant indicates that your account has been inactive for over 200 days.

Your Microsoft Entra ID tenant (ID: xxxxxxxxxxxxx) has been inactive, which means that no activity has occurred for more than 200 days. This inactivity could lead to the tenant being flagged for deactivation.

To continue using your tenant, you need to make a purchase before June 4, 2025. If you don't make a purchase before this date, your next purchase with Microsoft will require a new Microsoft Entra ID tenant to continue using Microsoft services.  Please note that this email does not affect your data or accounts. If no purchase is made by the deadline, your current tenant will become inaccessible.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you have any further queries. Happy to assist you further.

I got a similar message today, but in my case, the tenant account is pérmanently blocked since last year and is still the organizer of our M365 family subscription meaning I cannot login anymore. I am really in trouble if all services are discontinued as, beyond myself, my wife and two daughters have accounts connected and using Onedrive, desktop apps, etc. Can another organizer-member of the family buy another family subscription and become the new family subscription holder without any disruption? Please advise.

    Got same email today:

Required action: To continue using your tenant, make a purchase before September 10, 2025. If you don’t make a purchase before this date, your next purchase with Microsoft will require a new Microsoft Entra ID tenant to continue using Microsoft services.

As always MS can't do UI :( and as Steve said "they don't have taste". How the hell should I guess and understand that this is about Azure? First I thought it's a spam or a phishing.
