BitLocker Decryption Paused with "Device Not Ready" Error

During the decryption of an HDD using BitLocker, the process has paused and does not resume with the command manage-bde -resume F:. An error message stating "Device not ready" is encountered.

Based on my experience, this can help resolve the issue:

Open Command Prompt as Administrator

Run the following commands:

CD F:

chkdsk /f /r
