Since you've already tried clearing your cache, switching browsers, and still can't search or respond to emails in Outlook Web (OWA), here are some troubleshooting you can try to resolve it:
1.Check Microsoft 365 Service Status
Go to Microsoft 365 Service Health (for work/school accounts) or Outlook Status (for personal accounts).
Look for any Exchange Online or Outlook.com outages.
2.Sign Out & Back In
- Fully log out of Outlook:
- Click your profile picture → Sign out.
- Close all browser tabs.
- Open a new private/incognito window and sign back in.
- Close all browser tabs.
- Click your profile picture → Sign out.
If the issue persists, let me know:
- Are you using a personal (Hotmail/Outlook.com) or work/school account?
- Does the error occur only in search, or are other features broken too?
- Have you tried Outlook Desktop/Mobile App as a workaround?
