Bug: Azure App Service Domain DNS delegation to Azure DNS zone not working via CLI or Portal

I'm experiencing an bug where I cannot successfully delegate my Azure App Service Domain to use Azure DNS nameservers. The delegation appears to complete in both the Azure Portal and Azure CLI, but the nameservers never actually update. The domain was purchased on Azure, yet somehow registered on GoDaddy (I do show up as the technical owner when doing whois). I contacted GoDaddy and they said to contact Azure support, but I cannot make a ticket to them.

This what seems like a bug is blocking me from utilizing the domain and changing any records.

Waited for multiple weeks already so it can process, but it something is going wrong.

Problem Summary:

Expected nameservers: ns1-03.azure-dns.com, ns2-03.azure-dns.net, ns3-03.azure-dns.org, ns4-03.azure-dns.info
Actual nameservers (stuck at): ns73.domaincontrol.com, ns74.domaincontrol.com

Steps Attempted:

Azure Portal - Clicked "Delegate to Azure DNS zone" button, which shows success message but doesn't actually change nameservers. This stops me from utilizing the domain.

Please help me as I really need to get access to this domain ASAP. How can this issue be resolved?

The domain is unfortunately not appearing in GoDaddy.

I was not able to create a support ticket, even after paying for a subscription for support it redirects me to the FAQ every time.

Do you know how to create a support ticket for this issue?

Maarten, below article describes receiving support here on Q & A if you have Developer support plan:

Priority community support (PCS) for Azure developer support plan customers

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/supportability/priority-community-support

If you upgrade to Standard support plan you could create Severity A ticket in Azure portal. You could set the plan to not renew if you want.

Unfortunatly it still does not allow creating a support ticket, tried many times and also paid to do so.

The GoDaddy customer support has been very clear, this is an issue on Azure side. The email used to create the domain in there system is not one of mine, but seems to be some sort of microsoft service account.

I cannot get access to a product that I bought, have to pay more money to get help with that, and still it does not work.

Would really not recommend working with Azure after this experience and I am considering moving my entire cloud deployment.

Is there anybody or any method that can help me gain access?

Okay, asking your question here on Microsoft Q & A is essentially how you create a ticket under Developer support. Please provide information via Private message feature and ask that they create a support case immediately on your behalf.

And I agree with what you said in regards to you buying a product, not getting access to it, and then having to pay more to get help.

Yes! I actually have lengthy instructions with screenshots showing how to create support ticket via portal. In my experience the vast majority of people will fail to create a support ticket on their first try and get caught in endless loop.
