I've installed .net 8 desktop runtime, but my app gets error that it needs to b downloaded/installed

I've installed.net 8 desktop runtime.
My c# winforms app displays an error stating that the desktop runtime needs to be downloaded & installed.
A screenshot of my dotnet --info results are attached.
Thanks in advance for any help.
