Microsoft 355 E5 free trial not visible?

Hi there,

So I've just set-up a new tenant for test purposes and activated an office E5 trial, now on top of that I would like to activate a Microsoft 365 E5 license by a free trial. The option free trial isn't visible in the marketplace for this product, I can only purchase it. Same goes for the Microsoft 365 E3 license.

I'm from The Netherlands so that might has something to do with it, I've seen several video's where people had the option to start a free trial there. Where this is strictly for exam training I rather not spend money on it, what to do now?

Kind regards,

S

    Hi Sander Veenstra,

    Welcome to our forum!

    Here are some potential solutions:

    1. Check different admin portals:

    ·       Try accessing the trial through the Microsoft 365 admin center (admin.microsoft.com) instead of Azure Marketplace

    ·       Look under "Billing" > "Purchase services" for trial options

    1. Use a different region:

    ·       If this is purely for testing, you could create a new tenant with a US address (some trials are more available there)

    ·       Note: This may violate Microsoft's terms if you're not actually in that region

    1. Contact Microsoft Support:

    ·       Since you already have an Office E5 trial, Microsoft support might be able to enable the M365 E5 trial for you. More: Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

    1. Partner programs:

    ·       Microsoft partners often have access to trial licenses - consider joining the Microsoft Partner Network.

    1. Visual Studio subscriptions:

    ·       Developers can get E5 benefits through Visual Studio Enterprise subscriptions.

In addition, since this is for exam preparation, Microsoft Learn also provides sandbox environments for many certification paths which you may want to consider using.

    Hope it helps.
