As of May 1, 2025, OneDrive mapped network drive issues and unreliable ! Prior to May 1, "0" issues.

Question

Well, prior to May 1, 2025, no issue, been using my (licensed, subscription) onedrive as mapped network drive for years, no issue.

From May 1, 2025, i can map, but access to the folders in my onedrive is either timing out from Windows explorer (win10, win11, no difference), and accessing from command prompt (sometimes work) to list directory, create directory, but eventually gets following error,

Access Denied. Before opening files in this location, you must first add the web site to your trusted sites list, browse to the web site, and select the option to login automatically.

Searched online, and seems like onedrive had an outage on May 1, 2025, unclear what that was about, and if even related to the problem of using onedrive as mapped network drive.

Anyone else using their onedrive as mapped network drive, and been experience issues from it starting from May 1, 2025? Thanks.
