How to update pages when sharepoint page template is modified

We have created few pages from page templates in SharePoint online. When the page template is modified it is not updating the pages which are created from it. Please suggest how to resolve this issue and if there is any workaround for this issue.

There needs to be a setting to apply to all. When using sharepoint pages as a wiki with a corporate banner - when you adjust the banner it absolutely needs to update the hundreds of pages. There should at least be an option to update pages that used the template.

Good day! Welcome to Q&A forum.

The behavior you're experiencing is by design in SharePoint Online (and modern SharePoint in general). When you create pages from templates, they become independent instances and don't maintain a live connection to the original template.

Manual Update Approach

Open each page in edit mode
Copy the modified sections from your template
Paste them into the existing pages
Adjust any unique content that shouldn't be overwritten
