Hi Ye Lan,
For Windows:
- Open Outlook Desktop > Go to File > Manage Add-ins > Click "Get Add-ins" (or "More Add-ins").
- If your app is published in the Office Store, it should appear there.
- If it's sideloaded, you can install it via "My Add-ins" > "Add from file" (for .manifest.xml).
For mobile:
- Outlook Mobile does not currently support custom add-ins (except for a few Microsoft-approved ones).
- Unfurling behavior:
- If your app provides link unfurling, it won’t work in Outlook Mobile unless Microsoft has explicitly enabled it.
- Mobile apps typically rely on default link previews (like OpenGraph metadata) rather than custom unfurling.
- If your app provides link unfurling, it won’t work in Outlook Mobile unless Microsoft has explicitly enabled it.
Since your issue is more related to development, please kindly understand that the Outlook tag here we mainly focus on general issues about Outlook desktop client. In order to better solve your problem, it's suggested that you could post your case and share your manifest file in dedicated forum for Office Development for more professional advice.
Thanks for your support and understanding!
