Autopilot V2 and passwordless/FIDO2/passkey sign in

We have deployed Autopilot V2 successfully. We are a password less cloud only environment using Microsoft Authenticator passkey. When deploying a device via Autopilot V2 the process works, however after the reboot the only options to sign in into the Work or school account are passwords (which not available) or FIDO Security key (physical which we don't have either). There is no QR code to pass the passkey stored on my mobile device.

Any advice?

Thank you, Cata

    I have no hands-on experience using only passwordless yet, but just a thought;

    • Are all Authorization Methods in MS Entra available and enabled for users which you suppose to be using? I noticed, that this selection affects also on Autopilot first login, what methods are displayed there.
    • Can you create traditional Autopilot User Driven (not Autopilot Device Preparation) and compare your experience to it. Thing is, that in reality, Autopilot Device Preparation is not yet completely ready.
