Is there a free Contact Management / Directory / CRM app that is easy to set up and use??

Question

We are are small business needing currently using Excel to keep a list of client names and details. Id like to explore options for 'upgrading this' to have additional check in prompters or profiling details.

Can anyone recommend a Microsoft app which is user friendly, and which I can import our current list into.
