Global Protect VPN Portal Change Not Applying via SCCM

Question

I am using Global Protect VPN and have prepared a script to change the portal. There is a script running via the Intune remediation method, and same script running through SCCM using the script legacy method. However, when I deploy it via the SCCM legacy package, the PanGPS and PANGPA services restart which these are part of script, but the registry portal value does not change. I also tried using the application method but got the same results. All machines have test1.VPN.com, but I need the portal test.vpn.com set on all machines
