Hello community,
I recently pointed my domain, destpark.com to an my server IP address, 40.123.248.232. The domain name resolves successfully. But when I try to access, http://destpark.com, the page resolves to "unable to connect". The page is accessible when I use the IP address. What could be the problem?

Check your DNS Settings on your server.
Could you elaborate on the OS on which the website is hosted. So that i can provide a better solution.

Hey @olufemia-MSFT , there weren't any logs initially. Although, I just checked with my domain issuer and the nameservers have updated successfully. http://destpark.com is accessible. Something happens though after I add certificates on the server. It again resolves to "unable to connect". I allowed ports 22, 80 and 443 in my inbound port rules. I ran my certificates through an SSL Checker and they match but it suggests that port 443 is closed. How can I resolve this issue?

Hi @Jacques Patricks , you can use the lets encrypt plugin for the same. It will redirect the same automatically to the SSL website.

@Garvitkumar Choraria , thank you for your quick response. I had already acquired a Positive SSL certificate from my domain issuer. Is there a way to enable that certificate with apache on Azure VM? I had not initially specified that am running the website on an Azure Linux VM.

Hey @Garvitkumar Choraria , I used the Lets Encrypt plugin as you suggested together with nginx reverse proxy and it worked! I have really learnt alot going through the Nginx documentation and applying a reverse proxy for my web application.
