We are experiencing a critical issue in the Azure Portal where the Logic Apps Designer fails to load. The following message appears:

"renderComponentIntoRoot component failed to load"

Additional info from the error screen:

  • Session ID: c26f2b77ec5147829f0677d5a569eb1e
  • Extension: Microsoft_Azure_EMA
  • Component: DesignerEditorConsumption.ReactView
  • Resource ID: UnavailableUser's image

Key observations:

  • The issue is affecting multiple users within our team.
  • It also occurs across different Azure subscriptions and environments.
  • Clearing cache, using incognito mode, and switching browsers does not resolve it.
  • Code View still works, but the Designer UI does not render at all.
  • Other users seem to be facing similar issues as reported in Q&A and GitHub (e.g., Grant Evans - Jan 9, 2025).

This appears to be a widespread platform-side issue.

Has this been officially acknowledged by Microsoft or is there a workaround?

Any insights or updates would be greatly appreciated.

@Chen Xiaohan Thanks for your patience on this. I am summarizing our offline discussion and posting the same answer for the benefit of other community members.Issue : Unable to open the designer UI of logic apps failing with error "renderComponentIntoRoot"

    Mitigation/Workaround:

    • I have checked with internal team on this. Upon investigating further team, they has confirmed this has happened due to recent deployment and team has rolled back the deployment.
    • Please do clear the browser cache or do a hard refresh of browser.
    • Customer has confirmed that they are able to access the Designer UI post hard refreshing the browser.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any further questions on this.
