Hi. I have received the following email, in a very legitimate looking format (I have add XXXs in the number below), but can't work out what the heck is wrong and what I'm supposed to do. I am already making monthly subscription purchases. Can anyone tell me if it is spam or what I am supposed to do about it..?

"Complete a purchase by May 26, 2025 to keep your account active

You are receiving this email because your associated Microsoft Entra ID tenant (tenant ID 0bXXXe0b-ef17-47e2-b516-f24c9fdaXXXb) has been inactive for more than 200 days. Required action: To continue using your tenant, make a purchase before May 26, 2025. If you don’t make a purchase before this date, your next purchase with Microsoft will require a new Microsoft Entra ID tenant to continue using Microsoft services.

You need to verify the tenant ID in question. It’s possible that a separate Entra ID tenant associated with your account has remained inactive. This can happen, if for example, you previously set up a trial or free-tier Azure subscription that hasn’t been used recently.

See similar thread with detailed explanation:

So in my opinion since you have been active, most likely it is a different tenant from your main one. You can check by comparing tenant ids

You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you
