New phone, Authenticator app won’t work

I got a new iPhone two months ago and have not been able to get my Authenticator app to work properly. I have tried everything that the self help answers have suggested and nothing has worked. The pop up box where I should be able to enter the code that the Authenticator generates does not appear for me. I need help to be able to access my schoolwork.

    You will need to contact your IT administrator, to assist you in resetting your account.
