bitlocker recovery problem can't enter recovery key

My laptop has a message saying I need to enter the recovery key but I can't input letters.

    The BitLocker recovery screen only accepts numbers.

    It seems you are trying to enter the BitLocker ID or password, not the numerical recovery key.

    Make sure Num Lock is enabled.The recovery key is a 48-digit number grouped in sets of 6 digits.
