Microsoft Entra Domain Services stuck on: The managed domain is being provisioned. This operation will take a while.

the deployment is stuck on this state for 3 days (over the weekend)

this is the second time it stuck., i have deleted the resource previously and did the deployment again.

I am thinking is something on the backend .

Please check the following to resolve the issue:

Check if there is a network configuration issue: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/domain-services/alert-nsg

Validate that the NSG is assigned and the required ports are configured for it. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-domain-services/active-directory-ds-networking#ports-required-for-azure-ad-domain-services

Make sure you properly followed and configured by this document: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/domain-services/tutorial-create-instance
