In Windows Admin Center, select Settings (from the upper-right corner of the page) > Extensions. Then select Extensions:

I understand you are not able to see the extension.

Based on your situation and the official Microsoft documentation, here’s a step-by-step troubleshooting guide for “Extended Network” extension not available in Windows Admin Center on Windows Server 2022.

Check Windows Admin Center Version Requirement: The “Extended Network” extension is only available in Windows Admin Center version 2110.2 or later. Action: Go to Settings (top right) > About in Windows Admin Center and verify your version. If outdated, Download Windows Admin Center from the Microsoft Evaluation Center.

Go to Settings > Extensions > Available extensions. Action: Search for “Extended network”. If not visible, click Refresh in the Extensions panel.

Verify that you are not running Windows Admin Center on one of the virtual appliances. We recommend that you run Windows Admin Center from an on-premises network.

Verify that the on-premises virtual appliances is using Windows Server 2019 or 2022. Verify that the Azure virtual appliance is using Windows Server 2022 Azure Edition.

The Azure Extended Network requires that your server is registered with Azure. In WAC, go to Settings > Azure. Ensure your Azure account is connected, the server is registered, and Azure Network Adapter is enabled.

I am using this feed: https://aka.ms/wac-public-extensions - seems on this feed there is no “Extended Network - can you check?
I am using version: Version2410 - Build2.4.2.1

I can not see Extended Network Extension.

I am runing Admin Center on Windows Server 2022 - Clean one. What you mean by nor run it on Appliance?

Runing it on fresh install VM on Hyper-V:

On your screenshot I see that Extended Network it is taken from c:\feed - maybe I can download it from somewhere?

Sometimes The "Azure Extended Network" extension may not be properly installed from the public feed (https://aka.ms/wac-public-extensions). In the screenshot, it was manually provided through a local NuGet feed at c:\feed. In WAC, click "Add" > "From local file", and upload the .nupkg

Windows Admin Center is built as an extensible platform where each connection type and tool is an extension that you can install, uninstall, and update individually. You can search for new extensions published by Microsoft and other developers,and install and update them individually without having to update the entire Windows Admin Center installation. You can also configure a separate NuGet feed or file share and distribute extensions to use internally within your organization.

You mentioned you're on a clean Windows Server 2022 — so:

Manually downloading extension packages

On another computer that has internet connectivity, open a web browser and navigate to the following URL: https://dev.azure.com/WindowsAdminCenter/Windows%20Admin%20Center%20Feed/_packaging?_a=feed&feed=WAC

You may need to create a Microsoft account and sign-in to view the extension packages.

Select on the name of the package you want to install to view the package details page. Select on the Download link in the top navigation bar of the package details page and download the .nupkg file for the extension.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all the packages you want to download.

Copy the package files to a file share that can be accessed from the computer Windows Admin Center is installed on, or to the local disk of the computer on which Windows Admin Center is installed.

Follow the instructions to install extensions from a different feed.

Hi Mariusz Ferdyn,

I have investigated more on this issue and checked internally with our team!

AEN is not supported in Windows Admin Center v2 just yet—it’s using an older version of Angular that is a cause for security concerns.

Technically WAC 2311 is not supported anymore and may be difficult to access if the user has not previously downloaded the build. While I can’t officially recommend it, if the user is completely blocked, they can manually download the AEN extension hereClick or tap if you trust this link.") and then add a folder containing that extension as a new feed to use AEN with WAC 2410.
