I missed the deadline to verify my business for the Azure Sponsorship. Now I have verified my business and eligible for the next tier, can I still get to the next tier or do I need a new account?

Hello Kilian Sprenkamp,

If you missed the deadline to verify your business for Azure Sponsorship, you may need to restart the verification process, as it is required to qualify for additional credits. There's no need to create a new account once your business is verified and you're eligible for the next tier. Ensure all steps in the "Verification Checklist," including domain verification, are completed. The process typically takes up to seven business days, so allow time for document collection and review. For accounts approved for $25,000 or more in credits, Microsoft will automatically review your eligibility about 45 days before expiration. If criteria are met, more credits and time may be granted without further action.
