I turned on Copilot Security without seeing how expensive it was. I turned it off after 6 days. Can I get a refund?

I was following a tutorial and turned on the compute resources for security copilot. I quickly saw my estimated bill growing quickly after a few days. I deleted the resource but I was wondering what I could do to be re-imbursed for those charges. I think I only ran 2 queries in Copilot.

Also, this is my first time using this community resource, so I apologize if I didn't put the question in the right location.

Thanks in advance

    Hello @Aaron Caudle,

You are at the right place. With Security Copilot pricing, it is charged hourly per SCU. Doesn't really matter how much of the SCU is consumed, so the cost you are seeing is expected. Security Compute Units (SCUs) power Security Copilot workloads and are billed hourly. To test and learn you can provision as minimum as 1 SCU. More advanced tasks, like Logic Apps automation, may use 5+ SCUs. Explore additional resources and use cases: Microsoft Security Copilot – Microsoft AdoptionIf you’re just getting started, we recommend provisioning 3 SCUs - enough to explore Security Copilot without overcommitting resources.
