Have you had files disappear in OneDrive shared folders? Files just are being deleted in shared folders.

Question

I know that Microsoft had an intractable and long-standing problem with shared folders in OneDrive and for some, like me, that problem has resolved (shared folders on onedrive.live.com would not show up in Windows File Explorer -- only has an online shortcut).

My current problem for which I cannot find anyone else experiencing, is that in one of my shared folders most, but not all, of my files (important ones) have disappeared. They have effectively been deleted.

Anybody else experience this and what can I do to recover the files and fix the problem?
