Asset endpoints tab in Azure IOT operations experience portal (iotoperations.azure.com) does not load

I am trying to follow this tutorial linked below to do the following via the operations experience web UI (iotoperations.azure.com) : "To create asset endpoints, assets and subscribe to OPC UA tags and events, use the operations experience"

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/iot-operations/end-to-end-tutorials/tutorial-add-assets

I can see my site . I can also see my IoT operations instance as shown in the image below

overview_tab_scrrenshot

However, when I click on the 'Asset endpoints' tab, I am not taken to the 'asset endpoints' screen as shown in the screenshot. Instead, I am stuck with a page as shown below:

asset_endpoints_not_loading_scrrenshot

When I check the network tab in developer tools, the http requests seem to be successful.

Any ideas what might be happening?...

Is there a way to create the 'Asset endpoints', 'assets', 'dataflows' etc specified in the above tutorial directly via the azure portal (portal.azure.com) instead of doing it via the iot operations web UI?

Thanks and Regards,

Supreeth K

    Hello Supreeth K,

welcome to this moderated Azure community forum.

I just tried this with an AIO device already having Asset endpoint and it works here (Chrome browser, West Europe Region).

This could be a 'simple' browser issue.

Can you retry this with another browser, in in-private mode? Or on another device?

The IoT Operations portal is the only web experience offered to work with these Assets and Asset endpoints.

I create the Asset endpoint and Asset itself using the CLI command too.

The Asset endpoint is complex (due to the way the secrets are organized) so I misuse a dummy endpoint for adding the credentials in the secret store.

Perhaps you can use this CLI way to force the UI to open up those pages...
