I've recently changed my phone and unfortunately did not have a backup of my Microsoft Authenticator app. Now I'm trying to set it up again on my new device so I can sign in. However, in order to update my security information, I'm being asked to enter a verification code from the Authenticator app—which I no longer have access to.
There are no alternative sign-in options available; the only choices are to receive a code or approve a prompt through the app. I do know my email address and password, but I’m unable to proceed further due to the 2FA requirement.
Please assist me in regaining access to my account.
