unable to receive verification code when logging in to Teams account

Question

Hey guys,

I am running into an issue where I cannot login to the Microsoft Teams app from my computer (whenever I enter my Skype login it says that it will send a code to the skype account which obviously cannot work). The web version does not seem to update the chat either

Once I enter the email tied to the account (a gmail account) and the code will simply never get sent

I was able to login from my phone but there is simply no way to login from my computer and its becoming an issue... can this be fixed?
