My first observation, and what brought me here is that I clicked a "Learn More" link in Explorer 'Learn more about Libraries' after striking out on getting columns I had customized in the 'Music' folder to stick in the 'Music' Library folder. The link, just like every other similar link in Windows 10 has been re-directed to a Windows 11 advertisement. I'm 75, have three Gen 4 i7s that are blazing fast. Instead of the promised answer, I'm insulted. It's bad enough I'm going to have to spend money I don't have for for something I don't need, but I get insulted and sent to Google.
#2) It's been 9 years and the DCom Warning in Event Viewer is still there, the MS corporate advice is 'ignore it'. If it's meaningless then downgrade it to an informational notification, Worse, you have left directions that point to places that do not exist as a way to fix the issue! People tell me this has been going on since Windows 8! Do you think no one looks at the event viewer? I'm a PC tech and I assure you every tech on earth looks at the event viewer, and so do hundreds of freaked out consumers who want to know what they're infected with.
That's all for now but Can you spare one employee to fix that DCom mess? Please?
And how about a little respect for the people who pay your bills
