Why I can't remove GIT from Synapse and Data Factory?

I'm the owner of both services (Synapse and DataFactory) but I'm unable to remove Git.
My Project name was changed in Azure DevOps and now both services are unable to connect. But When I try to remove the source control to setup to a new address.. the option is grayed.. I have no clue of any policy that may be blocking this operation.

Any idea how to force this operation?

    Hi anonymous user,

Wondering if you are on the feature branch when you are trying to access the Git Repository settings. If you are on a different branch, would you please change the branch selection to collaboration branch (main branch) and try to disconnect the repo. Hope this helps. Thanks!

    I came to a solution:

    a) Create a Dummy project with the same name as previous
    b) Reproduce the same characteristics as previous like Repository name and working directory

after that the option to disconnect became available
