Hello neshrock
I understand that you're facing certificate related issue with your Azure front door after account reactivation leading to the ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID error. Payment failure might cause a brief pause or suspension of Azure resources, such as Front Door custom domain validation or certificate renewal.
The error you're facing indicates a mismatch between the domain in the SSL certificate and the domain in the URL being accessed.
Here's how to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
Now that the renewal is paid and active again, please ensure everything, especially the Front Door certificate, is in place.
Check Front Door Certificate Status
- Go to Azure Front Door service in your Azure portal --->Navigate to Domains.
- Check whether the custom domain state is deployed and certificate provisioning status is "Succeeded".
- If it is "Failed", revalidate the certificate accordingly.
May I know are you using AFD Managed Certificate or BYOC for your custom domain. Have you ensured that the custom domain is configured correctly in Azure Front Door?
