I bought windows 10 from Amazon. The download worked great I had no problems installing it to my PC. The harddrive I was using ran into a blue screen error and I was unable to to load windows or reset it to default. I sent the harddrive back to the manufacturer and got a replacement. I am now wondering if I can use the same key to install windows to the new harddrive or will it cause my harddrive to crash immediately?

Yes, you can use the same Windows 10 product key to install Windows on your new hard drive

It will not cause your hard drive to crash.

Yes, you can use the same Windows 10 product key to install Windows on your new hard drive, and it will not cause your hard drive to crash.

Windows 10 makes hardware upgrades easier as it stores a hardware hash on the activation servers, allowing us to reuse the product key without issues.
