The Azure $150 monthly credit benefit from Visual Studio Subscriptions was activated by my microsoft account, but the account is deleted now. I want to transfer the Azure $150 monthly credit benefit to another account, but I always got this:

    Hi Zheng,

To transfer Visual Studio Azure benefits to another user account, you need to manage the subscription and billing ownership.

    Check Subscription Ownership:

    • Ensure you have the necessary permissions to manage the subscription. You need to be an owner or administrator of the subscription.

    Assign Roles:

    • Go to the Azure portal and select the subscription you want to transfer.
      • Use the 'Access control (IAM)' option to assign roles to the new user account. You can add the new user as a contributor or owner, depending on the level of access they need.

    Transfer Billing Ownership:

    • If you need to transfer billing ownership, you might need to follow specific procedures outlined in the Azure portal under subscription management. This often involves transferring the subscription to another Microsoft Entra tenant account.
      • For detailed steps, refer to the Azure subscription transfer guide. Verify Access:
      • Ensure the new user can access the subscription and its benefits by logging in with their account.

If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, you can contact Microsoft Azure support.
