Hi, How can I disable the Git configuration for a Data Factory V2 resource when the setting and disconnection option is unavailable on the Git repository page?

In order to disable/disconnect your repository associated with your data factory, first select master branch (main) under Git branch settings. Then you need to go to Git Configuration tab under Manage and use Disconnect button to remove the Git repository association as shown in the below GIF. Note : Disconnecting from the repository does not delete anything. All published resources remain in the workspace. These changes affect all users. Hi @KranthiPakala-MSFT ,

Thank you for your detailed step by step instructions. Unfortunately, I found out that the Data Factory Git repository is associated with a colleague DevOps account who is no longer working with the firm. Do you have any advice on how I can proceed further? I currently cannot even switch to the Azure DevOps GIT because I do not have access to the repository.

Thanks for your response.

As you do not have access to the repository, one thing you can do is to reach to Azure DevOps organization owner who can provide permissions at any level within the organization or project.

Here is how you can look up the organization owner:

Choose the Azure DevOps logo to open Projects, and then choose Organization settings.

Choose Overview and scroll down to show the Organization owner.

I do not see that organization in my Azure DevOps (I think because I do not have access). I inquired about it with my Azure admin. I hope the Admin has access to see all the Azure DevOps organizations.

Thanks for the update. Yes, you may not have the permissions. I would recommend you to please work with your Azure Devops owner/admin who can resolve or grant you the access to the project you are looking for.
