SIR21335661 - Concern Microsoft Services Account reset

Question

My account ******@outlook.com has been locked.

 

I filled in several forms but receive the same response:

Policy violated: Abuse of our Platform and Services

Microsoft system used: Skype

Date of appeal: 2025-06-06 22:00:37

Appeal results: Violation confirmed (Decision upheld) 

 

I stopped using Skype back in April 2025

I tried to reset my password and no luck

It looks like you just used the Microsoft account recovery form (https://account.live.com/acsr?mkt=en-US) to request a password reset for it. Because you've turned on two-step verification for your account, we ignore these requests but wanted to let you know.

 

and no one from chat support could provide me the right answer how to get it unlocked.

Same issue with my wife's account. No warnings, no answer and no wrongdoing from our side. No one in our family has Skype, how is it possible to violate the terms of use if you don't use it??? I guess I'm moving to Google completely, this company is a joke
