Can physical zone and logical zone mapping modified after subscription creation?

The document https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/reliability/availability-zones-overview?tabs=azure-cli#physical-and-logical-availability-zones mentions "Azure subscriptions are automatically assigned their mapping at the time the subscription is created."

May I confirm if the zone mapping can be modified after subscription creation? If the mapping is consistent among different regions and resource types?

    Hi Shanshan Li

Subscriptions are not specific to region.

    Reference link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cloud-adoption-framework/ready/landing-zone/design-area/resource-org-subscriptions#multiple-region-considerations

Regarding availability sets and zones, you can select after creating the Subscription.

    Example

If you are creating 3 servers in East us Region for high availability

    You can select

    Zone 1

    Zone 2

    Zone 3

So, each VM will deploy in different datacenter in the same region I.e. east us.
