Windows 11 update KB5063060 clobbered my system, changing the user interface and stopped StartAllBack working. I uninstalled KB5063060, proving that it is the culprit, because everything is OK again. However Windows Update is trying to reinstall it. How can I stop that? In the meantime I have paused updates for four weeks but expect that as soon as I allow them KB5063060 is liable to be reinstalled again.

backup the data and then reinstall the previous windows version

Thanks for your post! I have been having a problem with explorer.exe recently and I think it is due to KB5063060. I too have StartAllBack, and the quick start stuff wasn't loading or the Task Manager via the taskbar. I updated StartAllBack to the newest version (v3.9.10) and that seemed to solve the issue for me. Hope that helps.
Brilliant. Thanks for your help. Occasionally I get a window asking if I want to install StartAllBack so I just close it. I now think that must mean do I want to install the latest version, so in future I will answer yes.
As I said I did that and it worked, except that Windows will reinstall KB5063060 and I could see no way to prevent it. However, Justin Jones provided the answer for me with an update to StartAllBack v3.9.10. Now with Windows having reinstalled KB5063060, I have no problems.
