How to fix Ms word sharing acces denied

my friend gave me link to make a project together in Ms. word, i clicked that and it instantly open Ms. word from my browser but when i tried to sign in and open that file in my own application it just said access denied ill put the screenshot. i just wanna do my project without getting it cropped in my browser

One possibility is that your friend forgot to set the correct permissions when sharing the document. Ask your friend to send the link again, or perhaps to send an e-mail attachment instead.
