How to Enable Microsoft Login or Customize OIDC Logo in Entra External ID

Hi,

I have an external tenant set up in Entra External ID, and I've successfully enabled customers to log in with Google. However, ironically, I can't seem to find a way to enable login with a Microsoft account directly.

As a workaround, I followed this tutorial to create a custom OIDC identity provider to allow Microsoft login through it. I'm now wondering if there's a way to customize the logo for this provider (see examples in the attached image ). I’d like to replace it with the Microsoft logo.

Also, if there's actually a way to enable direct Microsoft account login without using a custom identity provider, that would be very helpful to know.

Cheers!

    Hi Dennis Nguyen

By default, usernames and passwords are available as sign-in methods. You can also use one-time passcodes or social accounts from Google, Facebook, Apple, or a custom OIDC federation.

You can add a Microsoft account as an OpenID Connect identity provider; however, there is no direct option to use a Microsoft account as a sign-in method.

By default, the Microsoft banner logo will appear on the sign-in page. Yes, you can customize your own banner logo instead of the Microsoft logo by using the company branding feature in Entra External ID. To do this, sign in to your tenant, use the search bar to find Company Branding, then click Edit. Upload your image in the Banner Logo field and click Save.
