Azure AI Speech to Text High Latency Issue

Using the Azure Speech to Text service to convert live audio from a microphone into text, but experiencing high latency in speech recognition. The conversion process sometimes takes a long time, and at times it gets stuck without any response or events such as Cancelled, Recognized, or Recognizing. What steps can be taken to address this issue?

You might need to switch region, API version, SDK version.
If the resource is virtual network protected, you might need to do additional whitelisting or modify NSG rules accordingly.
Please share your Speech resource region and Sample SDK code if you are trying from SDK to replicate minimally
